Born in San Francisco, CA, Tara O'Siochain is a visual artist, art historian, and art educator. She holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from the San Francisco Art Institute and Bachelor's degree in studio art from Mills College (Oakland, CA). Painting and exhibiting for over 30 years, she also teaches courses such as Abstract and Nonobjective Painting, Color Theory According to Johannes Itten, History of Modern Art, Expressionist Figure Painting, and more.
